New year, new Book Club and Knit Club!
Happy new year to you all, hope it has been a good one so far. New years resolutions for me tend to be to drink less, spend less, be more creative and read more. Book club and knit club will help you do just that!
I know a lot of you are keen to start coming to our clubs so I thought I'd update you with the new dates and lists. We are also trying something new for 2017 to make the experience more relaxing/easier for us all (it might mean myself and my staff can join in with the clubs too!).
New for 2017: We will charge £5 to attend the evenings which includes a tea/coffee/cold drink AND a cake OR thick hot chocolate.
We will lay out a selection of drinks upstairs that you will be able to help yourselves to as much as you like (this will include tea, coffee, cold drinks). We will take orders for either a thick hot chocolate or a brownie. There will only be a limited menu available. Everyone who attends has to pay £5 even if they choose not to eat/drink. You may take your brownie home if you don't fancy it on the evening, we will pack it up in a party bag for you!
KNIT CLUB
Every last Thursday of the month from 7.30-9.30pm we run our very own knitting club. It’s a chance to try something different, meet new people and another good excuse to treat yourself to a hot chocolate! You don’t to book but our cafe is small so it’s best to get there on time to secure a seat.
Doors will open at 7.30pm.
There are knitters of all abilities so don’t worry if you are a beginner everyone is willing to help. Remember to bring your own yarn & needles and feel free to bring crochet work as well or anything creative!
